Hi there, #Startwith8Hollywood mentee!

We have successfully received your registration to be a mentee in #Startwith8Hollywood Cycle 2! There is no “selection procedure” – if all is well on your form submission you are in.

Unless something is wrong with your registration (e.g. age or location, it’s 18+ and US only), we won’t be in touch with you after this message. What happens next is that we are going to enjoy the holidays, and our team is going to work on making 1200 matches and scheduling 1200 meetings in January. This is a huge chunk of work, so we kindly ask you for your patience, and to please bear with us. Meetings will commence late January/February, but depend on your mentors’ availability.

This is a Twitter movement by a non-profit and the press is actively silencing us and companies in Hollywood have copied our program with immense funds available to them, so your amplification on Twitter is hugely important. If you value the work we are doing please spread the word among friends and industry pros, tweet about it using the #Startwith8Hollywood hashtag, and if you can, donate to Women of Color Unite. We are truly changing the way the industry thinks about inclusion, and we are aiming to make lasting change.
